Harold Hubert (Herb) Davis, 86, of Columbiana passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Herb was born on August 23, 1926 in Unionport, Ohio the son of the late Lloyd P. and Maude L. (Johnston) Davis. He was a graduate of Hopedale High School Class of 1944; he served in the US Army and retired from Wheeling Steel and Harold H. Davis Insurance Agency. Survivors include his wife Elda E. (Randolph) Vocature Davis; children James Davis of Bergholz, OH Step Daughter Teresa Hucko of Pineville, NC, a Step Son Everett Vocature of Karneysville WV, 10 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 Brothers; Dale of Unionport, OH and Willard Davis of East Springfield, OH. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Nellie (Dennis) Davis, a daughter Vickie Maxwell, a daughter Deborah Davis and brothers; Albert, Don, Glenn and Wayne. A Celebration of Herb’s Life will be held at the Dutch Village Inn, 150 East State Route 14, Columbiana, OH on September 9, 2012 at 3:00 PM.
