U.S. Veteran

George E. Peters Jr., 80, of Hanoverton passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at University Hospital Cleveland, Ohio. George was born in Rogers, Ohio, on March 18, 1932 the son of the late George E. Peters and Amy (Ward) Peters. Mr. Peters was a US Army, Korean War Veteran. George worked as a Welder and Carpenter; He enjoyed spending time out doors and tinkering around. He also liked spending time with his family; George (Pap Pap) will be missed most by his loving granddaughter Shelby. Survivors include his sons John (Twilight) Peters, Robert Peters, a daughter Virginia Weaver all of Salem, and Sister Hazel Rhodes of Georgia. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Roxanne, Jim and Shelby; 2 great grandchildren; Bella and Jax . Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son James, Sisters Evelaine, Grace, and Bertha, Brothers Henry, Roy and Norman. A private Family service was held.
