Ernest E. Earl, 81, of Salem passed away at his home on Friday, November 9, 2012. Mr. Earl was born in Salineville on April 15, 1931 the son of the late Freid and Olive (Rose) Earl. A graduate of Salem High School, Ernest retired from United Engineering; he enjoyed photography and spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughters Deby Earl and Dawna Earl; sons Shane (Diana) Earl and Michael (Gigi) Earl, all of Salem; grandchildren Deirdre (Shawn) Sadler of Leetonia, Heather Haueter of Salem, Damien (Paromita) Earl of Toledo, Andy Way of Salem, Kim Stryffeler, of Salem, Abrahm Zugelj of Salem and Skyler Earl of Salem; five great grandchildren Donald M. Haueter of Salem, Logan Haueter of Salem, Silas Sadler of Leetonia, Christian Hudson of Salem and Kiersten Hudson of Salem. He is also survived by a sister Dorothy Conkey of Canfield. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Saundra (Schuckert) Earl, a sister Vi Banta, sons Shawn and Scott and a daughter Robin Earl.
