Bill Barton, of Salem, formerly of Lisbon, Passed away at his home surrounded by his family, on Tuesday December 18, 2012. Mr. Barton was born in Lisbon, Ohio on December 21, 1953 the son of the late Paul and Stella (Clark) Barton; he was a Graduate of David Anderson High School a Navy Veteran and a life time member of Salem Am vets. Bill retired from Colfor Mfg he enjoyed spending time with his family, Golfing, Fishing and BBQing. Survivors include his wife Julia (Metzgar) Barton of Salem, Stepson Samuel Entrikin of Leetonia Step Daughters Brandi Modrak of Canton, Victoria Modrak of Portland Oregon and 4 grandchildren.Two Brothers David (Buck) Barton of Salem, James Barton of Guilford Lake.and three sisters Sandra Schnader of Salem, Kathy Barton of Salem and Carrie Barton (Rich Courtney)of Salem A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 21st at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home in Salem with Pastor Kathy Barton officiating.
