Carl L. Hill, 87 of Sebring, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.  Carl was born in West Virginia on May 29, 1928 the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Gorby) Hill.  He was a US Army Veteran and enjoyed playing guitar and hunting but he especially loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his 14 children; Carl W. Hill of Massillon, Robert L. (Betty) Hill of Kensington, James (Michele) Hill of Beloit, Ralph (Kim) Hill of Sebring, Howard Hill of Sebring, Lawrence Hill of Youngstown, Bill Hill of Alliance, Dorothy Jane Hafner of Minerva, Patty Binkley of Beloit, Juanita Hill of East Rochester, Bonnie (Jim) Stancato of Sebring, Layra (Matt) Jones of Minerva, Melissa (Keith) Murphy of Minerva and Tabatha Hill of Minerva, 31 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean McIlvain who passed in 1994 and a son Richard.

A funeral service will be held on Friday November 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek funeral home with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM. Interment will take place in Grandview Cemetery in Sebring with military honors provided by the Salem Honor Guard.  Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www.grfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are by Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home Sebring, OH (330) 938-2526.
