Welcome to the memorial page for

Charles Eugene (Myers) Myers

January 23, 1953 ~ September 24, 2016 (age 63) 63 Years Old

Charles Euguene Myers, 63, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. Chuck was born in Alliance on Jan. 23, 1953, the son of William and Dorothy (Lazear) Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Salem; his mother, Dorothy of Austintown; two daughters, Stefanie (Brian) Hoopes of Alliance and Cindy (Michael) Blaho of Berlin Center; six grandchildren, Caitlin Hoopes, Brianna Hoopes, Brandon Hoopes, Nadeen Hoopes, Michaela Blaho and Kory Blaho. He is also survived by his siblings, Bill (Donna) Myers of Sebring; Gary Myers of Austintown; Kathy Myers of Austintown and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Chuck was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandmother Nellie “Mom” Lazear; his father; a brother, Donnie; and a sister, Diana.

Chuck “Bean” specifically requested the following be shared with close family and friends at this time. He asked that you think of him along with a fond memory while reading these words:

To the living, I am gone.

To the sorrowful, I will never return.

To the angry, I was cheated.

But to the happy, I am at peace.

And to the faithful, I have never left.

I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.

So as you stand upon a favorite

camping spot or fishing shore or just gazing

out at the beautiful Berlin Lake waters…

remember me.

As you walk thru the woods during

 hunting season…remember me.

As you look upon a flower and admire

its simplicity…remember me.

As you gather puff-balls from the

country-side pastures…remember me.

As you reminisce and share stories

from the past at family gatherings…remember me.

As you read that special passage

from your Bible…remember me.

Also, remember me in your heart,

your thoughts and your memories of the

times we loved, the times we cried,

the times we fought, the times we

laughed. For if you always think

of me, I will never have gone...
