Helen (Gandee) Thompson

Helen Thompson, 69 of Sebring passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home.  Helen was born in Alliance on October 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Arlie and Sylvia (Smith) Gandee. A lifelong area resident, she was a member of Free Will Baptist Church, she loved birds, especially her Pretty Bird, playing cards, and spending time with family.

 Survivors include her husband of 8 years, Robert Thompson whom she married March 15, 2008; a sister Faith (Eldon) Baringer; a brother Evert (Evelyn) Gandee; nephews, Robert (Patty) Baringer, Joe (Wendy) Baringer; nieces Tammy (Ron) Cox; great niece, Ilish Baringer; great nephew, Cael Baringer.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Phil Gandee.                                             

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday May 4, 2016 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Holbrook officiating.  Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
