Julia (Metzgar) Barton

Julia Barton, 59 of Salem passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her home. Julie was born in Salem on October 16, 1957 the daughter of the late Robert and Louise (Rosier) Metzgar. She enjoyed crafting and cooking but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Survivors include a son Samuel (Sarah) Entrikn of Leetonia; two daughters Brandi Modrak of Canton and Victoria Modrak of Portland, Oregon; brother Robert Metzgar of Salem and three sisters Debra Fuson of Salem, Marilyn (James) Winters of Rogers, OH, Stacy (Denver) Marks of Salem; four grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Barton and a brother Wayne.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mike Kimball, Officiating.  Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
