Marla J. (Walker) Miller

Marla J. (Walker) Miller, 51 of Homeworth went home to our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.  She was born in Canton, Ohio on April 1, 1965 to Kenneth and Mary (Radsick) Walker.  Marla was a 1983 graduate of Marlington High School; she was a loving wife and had worked on the dairy farm all her life as well as home care, baby sitting, housecleaning, house and pet sitting for friends and family.  She loved the outdoor life; from gardening, yard work, fairs and walking. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Most of all she loved being with and playing with her dogs Jack and Jake.  She just loved all pets past and present.  She was a member of New Franklin United Methodist Church all her life and loved being in her church.

Survivors include her father, Kenneth Walker of Minerva, her husband John J. Miller whom she married on December 2, 2000, and a brother Duaine Walker of Minerva. She is also survived by her best (dog) friends Jack and Jake of the home.  She was preceded in death by her mother Mary K. (Radsick) Walker, and her beloved pets Angus the cow, Lucky the lamb, and her dogs Scooter, Tubby and Toby.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the New Franklin United Methodist Church at 12:00 PM with Pastor Elaine Weaver and Rev. Jenna Brown officiating.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home in Sebring and the hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, Ohio.
