Paul W. Greenawalt

Paul William Greenawalt, 94 of Homeworth passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his home. Paul was born in Beloit, Ohio on October 11, 1921 the son of the late Charles and Faye (Hively) Greenawalt. He worked at Beloit Mille and retired from the Alliance Machine Co. in 1986.  Paul loved his family and enjoyed being involved in everything they did.  He was an avid sports fan; he especially loved baseball.

Survivors include his children; Doug (Bonnie) Greenawalt, Janice (Bill) Lewis, Randy (Tami) Greenawalt and Judy Bernier; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Besides his parents Paul was preceded in death by his wife Elphy (Floreanini) Greenawalt, whom he married September 4, 1948 and died January 6, 2004; his brother and sister-in-law Lea (Ada) Greenawalt, sister and brother-in-law Mildred (Lloyd) Himes, infant daughter Diane Greenawalt, son-in-law Ray Bernier and great-granddaughter Kiersten Renee Bernier.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Craig Boyce officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday the hour prior to service from 10-11AM.
