Robert "Bob" Aebi

Robert “Bob” Aebi, 91 of Beloit passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Aliance Community Hospital. Bob was born in Alliance, Ohio on July 8, 1924, the son of the late John and Louise Nellie (Urig) Aebi.  Mr. Aebi was self-employed as the owner/operator of Robert Aebi Excavating and Septic for over 50 years.  He was a member of North Benton Presbyterian Church, Alliance Area Senior Center, and the NRA.  He enjoyed gardening, playing euchre and was a wonderful husband and dad.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Mary Jane “Janie” (Bruderly) whom he married on September 23, 1985; his daughter Linda Aebi (Peter) Eggmann of Louisville, a son; three grandchildren, Kathy Hargrove, Michael Hall, Brice Jackson; two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Williard Aebi of Mount Vernon and Elmer Aebi of Alliance.  Besides his parents Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Ann (Haiduk) Aebi, daughter Cathy D. Clark, granddaughter Wendy Hall, two sisters, Virginia Reed and Eileen Hartenstein.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Goetz officiating.  Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday May 3, 2016 and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park.
