William "Bill" Glen Keener

William “Bill” G. Keener, 65 of Salem passed away at his home on Tuesday October 11, 2016.  Bill was born in East Liverpool on October 5, 1951 the son of the late Glen and Eileen (Hood) Keener.   He was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam; he was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Virginia (Risbeck) Keener of Salem, two daughters; Amber (Jason) Reynolds and Lisa (Thomas) O’Rourke both of East Liverpool, his three step daughters; Rebecca (Antwan) Burton of Pittsburgh, Tina (Kelly) Hanlon of East Liverpool, Pamela Risbeck of Clarksburg, West Virginia, and his ex-wife Brenda Keener of East Liverpool. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Brooke Ingram, Tyler O’Rourke, Aundrae O’Rourke, Thomas O’Rourke IV, Hayden Reynolds, Nicolas Reynolds, 10 step grandchildren; Aria Risbeck, Kyla Taylor, Dawid Burton, Lashay Roberts, Damieon Pitts, Antwon Burton, Joslyn Burton, Shamari Burton, two step brothers Timothy and Roy Fitzsimmons, two ½ sisters Lori Jackson and Glenna Annirino and several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother Olive Keener.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home in Salem from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
