Dorothy I. (Albert) Jordan

Dorothy I. Jordan, 90 of Sebring passed away at Community Care Center in Alliance on Sunday, May 27, 2018 with her daughters by her side. She was born in Sebring, Ohio on August 28, 1927 the daughter of the late Clarence M. and Gertrude P. (Shaw) Albert. Dorothy was an Accountant by trade and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Alliance, Ohio where she served as an Elder and Deacon; she also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she served as Past Matron and on several State appointed positions.

Survivors include her children; Mary "Cathey" Jordan of Sebring, Connie Jordan of East Palestine, Gary (Darlene) Jordan of Sedona, AZ and Douglas (Mary) Jordan of Sebring. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two sisters Sandra Pollock and Linda Karns. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert whom she married on September 11, 1948 and died on December 12, 2012, 5 brothers; Dale, Gerald, Kenneth, Dean and Wesley Albert and a sister Eilleen Postiy.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring with Rev. James McCurdy officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the half hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the funeral home an Eastern Star Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring. Memorial contributions can be mande in Dorothy's honor to Alliance Hospice 2461 West State Street, Suite E, Alliance, OH 44601.
