F. Lynn Wyss

Franklin “Lynn” Wyss, 89 of Beloit passed away at his home on October 25, 2018 surrounded by family. Lynn was born in North Georgetown on February 8, 1929 the son of the late Daniel F. and Margaret (Kutz) Wyss. He worked as a machinist for Sekely and Morgan Engineering retiring after 33 years at Morgan Engineering. He was a member of North Georgetown Evangelical Luthern Church. Lynn enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 61 years Lois (Earley) Wyss whom he married on October 2, 1957; sons David Wyss of Beloit and Bruce Wyss of North Benton; daughter Carol (Daren) Schaefer of Beloit; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents Lynn was preceded in death by a son Paul Wyss; brother Virgil Wyss and 4 sisters Rosie, Arlene, Jean and Donna.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with pastor Mark Reich officiating. Friends may call on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM and the hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 AM –11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Lynn's honor to Community Hospice 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or Beloit Fire Department Association PO Box 34, Beloit, OH 44609.
