Scott Smith Obituary

Scott Owen Smith 55, of Beloit passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at Alliance Community Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Scott was born in Alliance on April 23, 1963 the son of the late David and Mary (Stanley) Smith. He was a 1981 graduate of West Branch High School. Scott liked going to the beach, riding motorcycles and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his companion Theresa Maley of Westville, a daughter Breanna France of Alliance, his siblings Mark Smith of Westville, Christy Biery of Salem, several nieces and nephews as well as Lindsey and Lacey Shasteen whom he considered part of his family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister in law Sue Smith.

Per his wishes cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life planned for a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Scott's honor to the Beloit Fire Department Beloit Rescue Squad PO Box 68, Beloit, OH 44609 or the North Georgetown Fire Department PO Box 22, North Georgetown,OH 44665.
