Wendy Belaney

Wendy Belaney, 61 of Canfield passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman. Wendy was born in Salem on June 30, 1957 the daughter of the late James and Beverly (Siers) McLaughlin. She was a graduate of United High School a former member and involved in 4H and enjoyed showing horses at the Canfield Fair, she was also a member of the Ohio Draft Horse Association, the Tennesee Walkers Exhibitor's and Breeder's Associaton, the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors inlcude her husband Patrick Belaney whom she married November 1996, a son Matthew of Canfield, a brother Greg (Melinda) McLaughlin of Indiana, a sister Paula Meiler of Millersburg and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law James Meiler.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home in Salem at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tom Allmon officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Woodsdale Cemetery.
