Donte Fortune Obituary

Donte Jamond Fortune 33, of Salem passed away at Salem Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Donte was born in Akron, Ohio on May 17, 1987 the son of Martha (Brock) Fortune Leiter and the late Edward Fortune. Donte was a special young man who was loved by his family and friends. Donte loved the staff and friends he made at Care First and enjoyed going to In Christ's Hands Workshop.

Survivors include his siblings; Timothy (Deborah) Fortune of VA, Cynthia (Dave) Rankin of Cortland, James (Michelle) Fortune of Malvern, Edmund R. (Julia) Fortune of AL, Steve (Tawnya) Fortune of Cortland, Richard of Alliance, Steven (Angela) of Alliance, Cody of Cortland, Teresa, Carlisha, Kayla, Kai, Carter, Jenni, Donovan, Desaree and Ty-shon. He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers Joseph and David.

A private family service and burial will take place with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
