Doris Miller Obituary

Doris Miller 86, of Sebring, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Alliance Community Hospital. Doris was born on June 13, 1933, in Alliance to Joseph and Lila Ruff.

Doris worked as a teller at the First National Bank and then later in the payroll department at American Steel, where she retired in 1991. She then went on to serve as a secretary for the First Baptist Church of Alliance. Doris’s number one priority was always her family. She will be remembered for her devotion to her children and husband. She will be deeply missed by her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Schroeder of Sebring; and sons Daniel (Christine) Miller of Copley, and Joseph (Theresa) of Lake Cable. She is also survived by five grandsons, three step-grandsons, and five great-grandsons. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Miller, her brother, Ralph Ruff, and her sister, Ruth Miller.

The family is having a private funeral service, with burial to take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are being made by Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio, 330-938-2526.
