Joseph L Fitzgerald

Joseph L. Fitzgerald, 81, of Louisville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville. Joseph was born in Salem, Ohio on October 30, 1938 to the late James and Edith Fitzgerald. He retired from Alliance Machine Company. Joseph was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Louisville.

Joseph is survived by his wife Barbara (Mueller) Fitzgerald; children Scott (Donna) Fitzgerald, Melissa (Frank) Spencer; and Randy (Vivian) Fitzgerald, step-children Maureen (Scott) Elkins, Patrick Shea, Brian (Molly) Shea; a sister-in-law Margie Fitzgerald; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Besides his parents Joseph was preceded in death by son Terry Fitzgerald and brother Jim Fitzgerald.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Louisville at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2020 with Father Robert Miller officiating. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home and the hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
