Ronald M. Blake, 72, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Ronald was born in Alliance on January 28, 1944 the son of the late Melvin C. and Winona (McPherson) Blake. He retired from Chrysler Motors. Ronald attended the Beloit Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, building, camping, horseraces, playing cards, gardening with family and spending time with family and friends.  

Survivors include his wife of 27 years Brenda ( Pugh) Blake; sons James Blake of Alliance, Robert ( Becky) Blake of Sebring, Thomas Blake of Alliance, William Blake of Paris, OH., and Luther Shutler of Alliance; a brother Robert Blake of San Antonio, TX; and sisters Lavera (George) Vitalarii of Alliance and Beverly Wilson of Deerfield; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by son Jason Blake; sister Virgina Rasile and brothers Alfred Schrader and James Schrader.

A funeral service will take place at 11 AM on Thursday, January 5,2017  at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor  James White officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 on Wednesday January 4,2017 at the funeral home.
