On behalf of the Deerfield Fire Department, we thank the family of Jean Myers for their requests that memorial contributions be made in Wilma’s honor to the Deerfield Fire Department. Many of our members knew Jean for many years. We were happy to be of service to Jean is her times of need.

On a personal note, my wife as a young girl was a student at the Deerfield School. I recall my wife laughing with Jean at the Schoolhouse Restaurant on the irony of all the years Jean cooked at the Deerfield School which was the same building that Jean worked at with Schoolhouse Restaurant.

May the memories of those that knew Jean only be happy memories of her long life.

So thankful I was able to spend time with Jean prior to her passing. Her amazing sense of humor and quick wit brought light to our day. Thank you to the family for letting Crossroads be a part of her life. Sending my condolences

I'm so sorry for the loss of Jean. Losing a loved one can be one of the most difficult times for a family to go through. I've recently lost a loved one too. What helped me to cope with the loss is the resurrection hope. At John 5:28,29 we are promised to see our loved ones again. Won't it be wondeful to see that time come true?

So sorry to hear of your loss Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us that God put eternity into mankind's heart, because of this, we can see that death is unnatural. We are not without hope for our loved ones though. At John 5:28,29 Jesus tells us all those in the graves will hear his voice and come out.

Larry and Vicki - We are so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I remember her as a very sweet lady and a wonderful mother to you. Mom and Dad always spoke very fondly of her. We will be praying for your peace and comfort. Cherish your memories with her. With sympathy --- Beth and Gary
